• Jr. Golf Program

The mission of Greenwood Hills Jr. Golf Program is to have fun and enjoy learning the basics of playing golf with a special emphasis on the short game and putting. We will also learn some of the most commonly used rules and etiquette of the game at an age appropriate level. This class is geared toward new or novice junior players.

We will be using the putting green and short game areas as well as the practice range to work on our golf skills. We will take the juniors out on the course as much as possible to play a few holes or parts of holes in order to let our future players have a chance to show off their newly learned skills. The final day program is our skills challenge and picnic by the pool and awards.

Eligibility To Participate In Junior Golf Program
  • GHCC Junior Golf Program is open to the children and grandchildren of Greenwood Hills members.
  • Based on the number of member's participating, we also invite friends of any member's children participating in the program to join us. Players ages 8-16 years are invited to participate in the program.

Class fees include snacks and bottled water during class, awards/prizes and the end of season picnic.

We could always use some adult volunteers on the days that we play holes on the golf course. You do not need to have any teaching skills. If you can keep the kids safe, moving and count strokes, you are more than qualified to help!
