Starting on Monday August 22nd the maintenance staff will be doing a small tine aerification of the greens. This process will help alleviate some of the excess moisture being held in the soil below the putting surface caused by the VERY wet conditions the past few weeks.
Weather permitting, the plan is to aerify the greens on the front 9 on Monday the 22nd and the back nine on Tuesday the 23rd. This process will require one of the nines to be closed until mid morning.
The remainder of this week the staff will be aerifying the tees, collar and approach areas on all 18 holes. During this process the course will remain open for play.
